Additionally, the band will perform five shows in May at the Venetian in Las Vegas, with the possibility of a longer residency in the future. Lead singer John Rzeznik expressed openness to performing more shows if the opportunity arises, while bassist Robby Takac views the upcoming Vegas performances as a test for potential future engagements.
The selection of touring partners is likened to a high school process, where the band seeks out acts they enjoy while navigating mutual interests and preferences. Their collaboration with Dashboard Confessional marks a return engagement after a successful tour last summer, which both members praised as an exceptional pairing that resonated well with audiences.
Goo Goo Dolls Las Vegas Concert reviews
Blue October / Google Dolls Show
First Blue October. Audio Mix at Jones Beach extremely bad. Far too much base often drowning out all the other instruments. (Happened at Santana / EW&F / Chicago shows too) - Almost as if the guys at the audio control console were asleep. Extremely bad. I almost left during Blue October the bass was so pounding in my chest and the audio level touched off ringing in my ears (tinitus) ! I consider myself an audiophile and there is absolutely no reason for that.
Google Dolls mix was a tad better and their show was pretty good.
Would like to know how has responsibility for audio at Jones Beach Theater. if it's not improved I won't be coming back... there are other venues.
